Application process for U.S financial Aid

And this is the process to apply for the U.S financial aid. I wrote it to assist students through the US financial aid application process. For first-time applicants who have to finish a Six Step Process. In Step 2 of the six step process relates to applying for a Stafford subsidized and/or unsubsidized loan:

Step 1: Students must first apply to study and receive an Offer of Place. Any financial aid documentation received prior to an Offer being issued will be held on file until the Offer is made.

Step 2: Financial Aid Application Requirements
The documents can be completed in any order, but the Financial Aid Director must receive all documents prior to accessing students' application.

Step 3: Application Review
Assessment of students' application by the Financial Aid Director and cost of attendance calculation.

Step 4: Award Letter
After students' application has been assessed students will receive an award letter by email and post stating the FFELP loans and students are eligible for and how much they may borrow under each loan type.

Step 5: Student Visa Application
The award letter may be submitted as part of their student visa application to show proof of funds.

Step 6: Confirmation of Award Amount
Before loan certification can take place, students must complete return the Financial Aid Award Offer acceptance form which is attached to the award letter. Students must also pay a deposit amount for University where students apply for. Loan certification will take place one month before International Orientation and Enrollment Week.
